The New Adventures of the Time Machine is a computer game, very loosely based on the novel The Time Machine: An Invention. In the game, you play the role of H.G. Wells, whose time machine takes him 800,000 years into the future.
The game does not take place within the same continuity as the novels, or any of the films, instead creating its own narrative which is more fantasy than science fiction. "Wales", as he comes to be known in the future, must explore and recover his time machine.

It is one of the few games ever made directly based on the story of The Time Machine.
